Explosions are the BOMB! At JB, we labeled the continents and oceans on our hand-made paper mache globes.
 We also learned about volcanos and went out to the park to do the diet coke and mentos experiment. It doesn't exactly have anything to do with volcanos... but since it was the last class before the summer break, I thought ending it with an explosion would be OK. The kids loved it!!! I am surprised I found Mentos at SUNNY... It is crazy ne.After work, I went to teach my salsa class and then I went out to town.... I headed out to Shark Attack for the Summer Dance Party... Wonder if it was supposed to be a Yukata party? They cleared out all of the tables and a proper DJ was in the house. Paul was mixing drinks and Yi was there. I danced a bit and hung out with Ben who was there drinking double whisky & gingerale as usual. Lots of familiar faces... YATTA!
Could only handle the non-salsa music so long and had to peek out at Tapas... once I started dancing though, I couldn't stop. Lots of people are back for OBON...
