Sunshine goes to car heaven

Sunshine is on death row. Today was his last drive out to Shirayuri. He is patiently posing in the parking lot outside my house... After Dave went to car heaven, I was really lucky to get Sunshine. He was already being taken apart-- but I saved his life. They put him back together just for me. The mechanics were super nice and let me "borrow" him for three months. He was their DAISHA (lender car). Unlucky for him, his SHAKEN expires this month-- and so off he goes to car heaven. Maybe he will have some nice things to talk about with Dave.
Poor Sunshine...

They say that Japan has a free enterprise system-- but that is as ridiculous as saying that America is a free country. The way that the government in Japan fixes the Shaken system stimulates (forces) consumerism. People are almost forced to scrap good cars like Sunshine and buy new cars. It is ridiculous.

The reasoning behind this is for suposed ecological reasons, which makes sense at first. But now it has just turned into a money making, economy stimulating scheme that I am pretty sure hardly helps the environment. In any case, I will miss having a car.
Now I get to think about what I wanna drive when I get a job again!!!!!!! Something small and purple maybe?!?!?! eheheh
